I have been following this story for a while and it’s been settled out of court with the New York Design studio who claims the Olympic Cauldron was influenced by his design. Whilst the British designer credited for the cauldron is still denying copying the idea, it’s settled and there was 5 key elements which were “influenced”. I think there must have been enough evidence there to make LOCOG settle out of court. All just a bit awkward as it goes on display in a special mood lit room at the British Museum. It’s still a thing of beauty though!
